True Size Of (truesizeof.net) is a free, interactive map for comparing the real sizes of countries. It has no accounts, no sign-up and no payments. This page explains the little data that is handled when you use it.

What we collect

• Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used — pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and interactions with the map. These services set cookies and process data under their own privacy policies.
• Preferences. Your chosen map-label language is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
• Map layouts. The countries you place on the map are encoded in the page address so you can share a link. We do not store them on a server.

Third-party services

Map tiles are loaded from OpenFreeMap (vector) or OpenStreetMap (raster). Requesting a tile sends your IP address and browser details to those services, as with any image on the web.

Your choices

You can block analytics with a browser extension or by disabling cookies; the map works without them. Clearing site data in your browser removes the stored language preference.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page.
